Natalie Froud

Natalie Froud is a former teacher with over fifteen years’ experience across Early Years and SEND settings, specialising in supporting neurodivergent children and those with additional needs. She is the founder of SENDinMama, a platform offering resources, training and support to families and professionals navigating SEND and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

Natalie writes with a strong focus on emotional development, behaviour and nervous system understanding, combining her professional background with lived experience as an autistic adult and parent of neurodivergent children. Her work is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach, translating research and theory into practical, accessible support for families.

She is particularly passionate about helping parents feel understood and less alone, and her writing aims to offer clarity, reassurance and realistic strategies that can be used in everyday life.

Natalie lives in sunny Eastbourne with her family.
