Abi Elphinstone signs new multi-book deal with Simon & Schuster Children’s

Brace yourselves – there’s not one, not two, but three new Abi Elphinstone titles coming out…
Simon and Schuster Children’s former fiction editorial director Michelle Misra and picture book editorial director Isobel Doster acquired world rights to three new titles from bestselling author, Abi Elphinstone.
Readers can expect more of Elphinston’s glorious magical worldbuilding – the first title, Goodnight Silver narrates a young girl’s quest to save the secret, magical land of Whisperfell. It will be illustrated by Olivia Lomenech Gill, and will be publishing in October 2026. Close on its heels will be a second stand-alone middle-grade fantasy with environmental themes, and a ‘moving’ picture-book of a polar bear that will be published in 2027.
